A big part of this program includes you! Your parental involvement is key to your child’s success with what they learn throughout the Essentials 4 Your Life program. Our program centers around strengthening communication between students and their parents. When there is family support for learning, students are often more successful in all areas of their life. We suggest you talk after each class with your child to learn about the many topics being covered. We also encourage teacher/parent communication if needed.
Students will receive two books. Both books will be utilized as they go through the entire program. The Resource Guide will be used in class that contains fun quizzes, encourages peer participation, role playing exercises and much more. The Essentials 4 You Workbook, which we encourage students to work with you on, is filled with exercises that you do together. Both parents and students will greatly benefit from working as a team on these exercises.
The Essentials 4 Your Life program works on a reward system for students. Students will take pride in their accomplishments and be motivated to participate through the Essentials 4 Your Life Reward Program. Students will earn ‘Essential Bucks’ for classroom participation, giving back to charities & the community, paying it forward and much more. Students will keep track of their ‘Essential Bucks’ and cash them in at the end of the program for prizes like Essentials 4 Your Life journals, trendy apparel and fashionable jewelry.
We ask that at the end of program you fill out a parent evaluation form that you will either get from the school or you can find it on our website under Evaluation Forms. Your feedback and participation is essential to the success of this program. So please take a few minutes to complete the evaluation once your child completes the Essentials 4 Your Life program.
